About the Journal

The Journal of Asia Trade and Business (JATB) is the official publication of the Asian Trade Association (ATA) and is published by ATA. JATB is the leading peer-reviewed, scholarly journal that publishes research across the entire range of topics encompassing the domain of global trade pertaining to Asian Countries. It is published bi-annually in June and December each year.

Aims and Scope

Journal of Asia Trade and Business (JATB) aims to be a resource for the advancement of the theoretical foundations and the practical applications in the context of international economics, international business and International trade practices & laws between Asian countries including Korea, China, Japan, Philippines and so on. The journal takes a broad perspective of the global trade by covering many vibrant sectors such as manufacturing, retailing, international trade, agricultural economy, tourism, and information technology, just to name a few. The journal will publish research papers, reports, and commentaries of significant interest to the community engaged in global trade. By being a conduit for sharing intellectual ideas and opinions among the academia and individual global industry sectors, the journal aims to bridge the gap between research and sound decision-making.

JATB is the only trade journal that highlights a diversity of perspectives through research papers, reports, and commentaries of significant interest to the Asian trade community.

JATB enhances sound research through quick and constructive review of the manuscripts submitted.

JATB aims to appeal to academics, government representatives, business major students, business and industry professionals, and trade organizations.

The official title of the journal is ‘Journal of Asia Trade and Business’ and the abbreviated title is ‘J. Asia Trade Bus.’

Journal of Asia Trade and Business was launched in 2014.
